Web: Food Tour Company Site UX Optimization

This website redesign was a joy. The owner of a San Francisco walking food tour company found her longtime business competing with others who were benefiting from an optimized web presence. And in an industry where nearly everyone finds you by search, she was missing out on a lot of business opportunities for public and private tours. After speaking with the owner, her booking team, and performing some customer interviews, I updated the backend of her site completely. We added search term optimization, more Google bot-friendly layout and design, and helpful page titles and metadata, and made her site more user-friendly with alt tags. I redesigned the navigation and flow of her site completely as well. As a result, we got her Google ranking to the first page for some of the most common search terms.
