First off, just gave the new cookbook, Can It, Bottle It, Smoke It, a swift kick to the printer. What's done has now been done, and it's too late for me to change anything. Recently taught a Pickles: Three Ways class at Omnivore Books, and I was completely stoked that not only did we oversell it, but we actually had to turn people away. The shop and I will probably offer the pickling class (or something else I could teach without an actual kitchen!) again in June or July. Perhaps it will coincide with a book release party. Also taught a pickling demo at the Macy's basement in Union Square. Nifty.
